At first I thought I would just repurchase the NARS Sheer Glow in a different shade since I really enjoyed using it. I then saw the new NARS foundation, I had heard great things about it and decided to give it a try.
So in the end I purchased NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation in the shade light 2 (Mont Blanc)
Im a big packaging person, if something looks nice I'm more drawn to it and the packaging for this foundation is simple but beautiful as most NARS products are. It's in a frosted glass bottle that is fairly heavy, and drum roll it comes with a pump! In the past you had to buy your own pump for their foundation having the pump makes it much easier to apply.
I decided to try this for the first time on a full day of classes, this meant my makeup would be on about 8:30am and I normally take it off around 9:00pm. The first thing about this foundation is that its very liquidly and you have to shake it up a lot before using it. After shaking it up I put two pumps onto the back of my hand, you are supposed to be able to use one pump and people have managed to but in total I used 3-4 pumps I think this has to do with what you choose to apply it with. I used the Real Techniques expert face brush, this is normally my go to brush for any foundation but for the sake of this foundation I am going to get a beauty blender as its gets slightly strokey with a brush.
Overall this foundation gives your skin a gorgeous glow and works well with any bronzer or blush applied on top of it. After enduring an entire day of school through the pouring rain it still looked flawless.
My final thoughts on this foundation are that I'm incredibly happy with it, I has much better longevity then the sheer glow and a much lighter feeling. If you're in the market for a new high-end foundation I would 100 % recommend this!
